Meet Havana! Havana is the founder of Havana & Co., a Confederation Court Mall store specializing in handmade soap and, in collaboration with the brand Ipa-Nima, handbags and wallets.
Havana opened her Charlottetown store in 2023, with the brand focusing on a simplistic and clutter-free lifestyle for its customers.
For Havana, simple means artisanal craftsmanship, natural ingredients and timeless design.
“Havana & Co.’s products are crafted using a minimalist approach, emphasizing quality and functionality. It’s about simplifying the choices for customers, offering them products that seamlessly integrate into their lives,” she said.
Havana moved to PEI in June 2023. Originally from Vietnam, she used her previous experience in marketing to successfully launch her brand and store.
“I’ve always been drawn to the world of creating something from scratch, building a brand that resonates with people,” she said.
The store marks her transition from employee to creator. Havana & Co. is not just about its products, but the lifestyle it curates. Specifically, that simplicity is a way of life, and can be easily incorporated into our lives with products Havana has in her store.
Going forward, Havana is looking to expand her digital presence by improving the company’s website and including a fan page, product advice, and podcasts. In addition, hair care products will soon be introduced to the store, and Havana’s brand will continue to actively engage in initiatives benefitting the community and environment.
